​We can’t forget the 8 weeks before our Summer Adventure Camp starts! We are going to have a crazy amount of fun outside.
*We will combine our April and May themes to make one BIG SPRING NATURE ADVENTURE. All things spring!!! Bees, butterflies, other bugs and insects, gardening,
*We do need the children to bring a few items.
*If they haven’t brought their insulated water bottle yet, please send that Monday.
*They need rain boots to either leave here or have on rainy and/or muddy days. They are welcome to go barefooted outside but they may not want to.
*They need some OLD play clothes they can wear outside that are ok to stay here to get muddy and dirty. I’ll throw them in the wash afterwards to have them ready for the next day’s play. PLEASE label them so it’s easy to see what belongs to each child.
We will be collecting some simple household “trash” and other simple supplies to use. Some things to start saving and keeping your eyes peeled for are
*strawberry containers
*tin pie pans
*coffee cans
*egg carton
*play sand
*potting soil
*play buckets and shovels
*child-size gardening tools to leave here to lend the school
To name just a few. Think gardening, playing in the dirt or mud and water, exploring bugs, and things of that nature.
It’s going to be messy but oh so much fun!
